Authorized Economic Operator
On July 3, 2024, U. S. Steel Košice received the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certificate.To receive this status, the company had to go through an evaluation and audit process carried out by the customs authorities. The aim of the AEO program is to ensure that the international trade chain is safer and more efficient, leading to better risk management and cost reduction.
